The BlackBird supports all major code types in use today including codes such as EAN, UPC, Code 39, Code 128.

Each code is scanned in microseconds and stored for later download. Simply point and click to scan a code.

When downloading to a PC or Macintosh the BlackBird pretends it is an additional keyboard so anything you can type into can accept barcodes. It comes with an RS232 cable and a USB Serial convertor so you can use it on many different types of computer.

The included Syncronisation software can be set to retrieve dat from the BlackBird when a hotkey is pressed. It can also be configured to time and date stamp downloads, and send the data to just one application, even if it isn't the active application. Seperators between codes can be customised to allow import into different applications, ie a return key or a tab between items

All our barcode scanners are ready set up when they leave us, all you do is simply plug in the cables provided and start scanning, no software setup is required.

The BlackBird comes with all the necessary cabling, adaptors and software. (No extra boxes required).
